“Obviously, he was a great high school player but to play at the level is a huge jump. I thought there were some questions. For one thing he's not really a shooter. I knew he was quick and a good ball handler. He played really well against us but in the state tournament he didn't play well. I thought maybe they made a mistake. But obviously if he's playing as a freshman they know what they're doing.”
“Last year's team was more explosive, more capable of putting up tons of points. I think this year's team is more consistent. We jelled better this year, came together throughout the season. Really, it's a more cohesive team.”
