“It was a very tight game. It was back-and-forth. Both teams were playing very good defense. It was a great baseball game and then we broke it open there in the fifth.”
“Everything that was happening was good for our team. The kids came through with some good situational hitting. We ran the bases very, very well in that inning and (Rifle) made some mistakes and we were able to capitalize on them.”
“He kept his pitch count down, he had pretty good command. He always has good command of his pitching. We let him down early in the game, didn't make some plays for him and got him some runs, but he battled back and got out of some situations and kind of cruised there at the end.”
